Motorola is gearing up to launch their Moto X in the Indian markets.Partnering with Flipkart again they have put up a Coming Soon status(will be Rs 23,999/-) on their site. Moto X on Flipkart.
It runs on the latest Android version v4.4 (KitKat).Will be available on 18th or 19th of March the price will be Rs 23,999/- on Flipkart.
It is also the first smartphone to be designed, engineered & assembled in the U.S.A. Which may increase the costs or may not affect it at all.
They have packed pretty neat features with the Phone which include:
Active Display.
Touch-less Control.
Quick Capture Camera.
Active Display
Information appears on the screen so that you don't always need to check your phone.
Touch-less Control
Moto X can be trained to recognize your voice.You just have to say: "OK Google Now" and give it a command.
Quick Capture Camera
By twisting your wrist twice your Moto X launches the camera.
I hope they bring the MotoMaker too. With MotoMaker, we can customize a Moto X specifically to their liking, and there are indefinite ways to customize. The front and back colors, there are also accents and wallpapers to choose from, so it can get crazy at first .

Other features include BT v4.0,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot etc. It has Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, temperature sensors.Missing on FM Radio.
Battery
It will have Li-Ion 2200 mAh battery which promises 13hours of talktime.
What i dont like about it is the outdated chipset,onscreen navigation keys,non expandable memory hope that the don't become deal breakers for other people.
Pricing should be around
I believe Flipkart will launch it with a wooden panel as an option which sounds cool.
There are Launch Day offers again, which include EMI, 1000 Cashback, 70% off on Moto X Cases with phone.Interestingly, the orders are currently limited to only one phone per customer. As they want to avoid the rush as they had with the Moto G.Or another explanation is that the Shopkeeper buy from flipkart and sell it at higher price or online retailer may also buy it.
